Here are some tips and information about what to expect from your first session:

PATIENT REGISTRATION

Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your visit to complete the electronic patient registration process

DIRECT BILLING

We have Direct Billing facilities with the following insurance and TPA companies. To check whether you are covered, select by Administrator or Insurance company from the drop-down menus below. If you don’t find your insurer, you can always call us and verify upon booking your appointment.

Please follow these steps to book an appointment and to secure your coverage by your insurance company:

  • Step 1: For NAS, AXA, METLIFE, NGI, MSH, Neuron, and ALMADALLAH insurance holders, send a copy of your insurance card and Emirates ID (front and back) to either DISC WhatsApp# +971-052-121-4295 or send a scanned copy of each card to insurance@disc-me.com for an eligibility check
  • Step 2: If you’re eligible, you may book an appointment with our Sports or Family Medicine Specialists for an initial consultation for pre-approval referral purposes.
  • Step 3: Since most of our services fall under Complementary and Alternative Healthcare, we need to secure the approval before booking with a Chiro, Osteo, or Physio.
  • Step 4: Pre-approval request will be sent to your Insurance Provider and usually takes 24-48 hrs.
  • Step 5: Once approved, you will be contacted by our team to book an appointment.
  • Step 6: Deductibles and Co-payment are as per your insurance policy.

Pay and Claim/reimbursement

For Pay and Claim (reimbursement), please follow these steps to book an appointment:

  • Step 1: Call your insurance provider and check if you have coverage for reimbursement outside your network before you begin treatment.
  • Step 2: Please check specific coverage for Sports Medicine, Family Medicine, Chiropractic, Osteopathic or Physio.
  • Step 3: Ask what are the requirements needed for you to be able to claim back your money. If your insurance company needs a referral, we can help you with this, but we can only give a referral from Sports or Family Medicine Specialist. If your insurance company requests a referral from a GP or an Orthopedic Surgeon, we can give you a list of contacts if you don’t already have your own practitioner.
  • Step 4: Make the appropriate appointment.
  • Step 5: We can assist you with all the documentation process.

MISSED APPOINTMENT AND CANCELLATION:

Our cancellation policy is designed to help us provide the best care possible to all of our patients. Any appointments cancelled less than 6 hours before or any two no-shows, will be charged a fee of 250/- Dhs. Our system would not allow us to add future appointments unless the fee has been settled.
